As an architect drawn to the historical charm of the Mediterranean and Adriatic regions, my stay at Al Merlo Olivo, Rural Istrian House, was a blend of architectural delight and natural beauty. The family-friendly atmosphere of the property added an extra layer of comfort to our vacation. With one child under 16, the array of activities like cycling and hiking truly enhanced our experience. The serene setting of the restored stone house, expertly managed by Franz and Antonella, provided a perfect backdrop for quality family time. Our youngest, under 2, felt welcomed and safe in the cozy surroundings. The easy access to cycling routes allowed us to explore Istria's stunning landscapes effortlessly. Antonella's traditional cooking added a delicious touch to our stay, ensuring our family was well-fed for our adventures each day.our family's experience at Al Merlo Olivo was one of warmth, relaxation, and exploration – a true testament to Istria's beauty and hospitality.
